With Isaac's birthday just a week away, I finally finished his afghan. It's what he requested- red, blue, and white. "Hey.. Gramma.. it looks a lot like the flag!".. Yes, it does.

STAGGERING TOTALS

I am never ceased to be amazed at the accomplishments of others~ particularly my best friend Sandi, who directs a crochet group called Hugs-n- Stitches. Her group makes afghans, hats, mittens and nice warm scarves for the homeless. The small group of women meet once a week, and what they produce among themselves is staggering when you think about it.
