STAGGERING TOTALS

I am never ceased to be amazed at the accomplishments of others~ particularly my best friend Sandi, who directs a crochet group called Hugs-n- Stitches. Her group makes afghans, hats, mittens and nice warm scarves for the homeless. The small group of women meet once a week, and what they produce among themselves is staggering when you think about it. The latest totals are in.. so hop on over to H&S to see what they have done this year.
You will be shocked and amazed. And don't forget to leave her a note to let her know you have visited. We all love those!

ON TO MARYLAND..

Add to that all the rain.. UGH!
But the weather didn't dampen our spirits..
I had a fabulous visit over the weekend,
and next year Rick and Sandi are coming to stay with us!
I can't wait!

VISITING WITH FRIENDS TOO

Last year Easter week, I made a trip to Valentines and then took a sidetrip to visit my friends Rick and Sandi in Maryland. It was a quick visit, but the first time Sandi and I had met in person. We have been good friends for over a year now.
I plan that same trip this year also. The last few days, I'll be headed for their house and returning home after.
For those of you who have asked, here they are... Sandi sent me this picture last night.

My very best friend Sandi Schneider called today with super good news.. she has a new job with the Association of Grantmakers in Baltimore. The office is in Westminster, MD where she and her husband Rick reside.
