It was really special to have a cousin come today to the picnic..

After we ate, the kids had a Frisbee game to play..
Of course, some assembly required first..
Joyce's cake
I decided to have an egg hunt later this afternoon.. just
something a little different.. So I filled 15 plastic colored eggs for each child
with a piece of gum or candy and a few coins.. and then herded kids inside
so we could hide them outside. It really was quite fun!
Everyone got into the act..
Paul3 had black eggs.. and a toad he found while he was
searching for his eggs.
We did have set borders for where the eggs would be hidden.
Try a black egg hidden under the wiper blade of my car.. ugh
Annabelle had yellow and gold and pink eggs

She still had it on after she'd gotten her bath and her big sister Joyce had braided her hair. Joyce is such a wonderful , patient and kind big sister.
Thanks to Gaylie for the princess outfits and the many many pairs of shoes. I enjoy it when Annabelle does exactly what Gaylie did at one time.. 'clomp clomp clomp!' and there she is in all her glitziness and finery. Big smiles on Annabelle's face.. what more could you want?
