Today is only a little better than yesterday. Allergies are rampant here. It comes from the dry leaves and molds on them. I'm up and moving better though.. and started looking through my family cookbook.. and decided we'd have apple pie today.. so I made one for Wendell which is sugar free.. and one for the rest of us. ... then I decided that was so easy... I'll bake a cherry pie! And so I did.

Tonite there is no menu... so I'm planning on making a BIG pot of chicken and barley soup with veggies. If there is any left, I may freeze or can it.
