The kids gave Wendell a card just before church started today.... it brought tears to his eyes.. he couldn't help it.......... read what the card said:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD 2006
Today is our Dad's birthday,
"Happy Birthday we all shout aloud!"
And now for a brief history
Of why we are so proud.
Born on this day, 1944,
That makes him 62.
Raised on a farm in Butler County,
Married 37 years last June.
Raised 4 children, all married now,
So with in-laws , that makes 8.
That alone is quite an accomplishment,
But it's the grandkids he thinks are great!
Blair's 4, Valentine's 5,6,7, plus Wendy's announcement
Makes 8.
She's due next spring, she has announced,
I think April is the date.
Eight grandkids?...No , something is wrong..
In April, I count 9.
For the 8th is due to the Blair family,
Somewhere around Christmas-time!!!!
Merry Christmas Dad!.. I mean Happy Birthday!!
But for this present you'll have to wait
She's to arrive in late December
Just before Christmas date.

This is FABULOUS news!!! It is so exciting to know that my new baby will have a cousing his/her age!!! Only wish we lived closer. Definately the top birthday present...never mind Primanti Brothers Dad!
