Mishaps this week were minor as far as the kids went.. but after we had our pictures taken, the Valentine's van broke down.. Paul to the rescue!! Wendy and Amy took the kids to our house and we called for a tow truck Paul says it may be the transmission or something smaller and less expensive. It was frightful for a while.. but I believe I see God's hand working here.
When we sort out the events, we see that this was a real true blessing in disguise..
First of all, we had the best mechanic money can buy on an outing with us..someone who could diagnose the problem and make the right decisions as to what to do..
And.. with all the children, we were able to send them all back to our house so they wouldn't be in the heat of the day in a car. Everyone was hungry.. and Paul and Amy provided food for the kids and Cory too..
It was good that it happened NOW, as the Valentines would have been out on the road today heading home.. and to be stranded for hours on the interstate with 4 children could have been disastrous.
Amy and Wendy got food started at home and we all got home here safely. It means a day or two more of vacation for the Valentines, but there is shelter for them and food too. And don't forget indoor plumbing.. God is providing in a big way.
Pray the problem is minor..
