In desperation, I bought these candies and realized that anything other than REAL M&Ms, just don't have the color. So I put them on my countertop in a crystal cup and this was the result. I just couldn't get the lighting right. Serves me right for trying to take pictures after 7pm. ugh.

How Funny- they are similar :) It's hard to find rainbows in Feb. anyway, right? :) Great Try!!
I hate that you can't capture the glistening of snow and ice- at least not with all kinds of fancy camera equipment.
However: I would GLADLY eat that rainbow!
I *HATE* taking pictures in winter evenings. The lighting is NEVER right. But good job for you trying and good job for making your own rainbows!
Lighting is my enemy many times--especially on these gray winter days! I think you did great though!
Great idea! There's only one room in my house that I can get nice pictures in. . . and even that room doesn't work at night and for most of the day. One day. . . . my dream is for a home studio of my own. . . not sure if hubby would go for it though since I don't think I'll ever be good enough to go pro! :) I'm trying to sell him on a new lens right now! :)
