"And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed." Mark 1:35
Psalms 55:17 "Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice."
Psalms 77:2 "In the day of trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not ..."
There are so many who need our prayers. My list grows and grows... I am so 'into' HIPPA guidelines, that I hesitate to give reasons for the prayers.. that is, the specifics of the problems. However, keep in mind that God knows the specifics even more than we do.. so our prayers are effectual. This week has brought a number of requests and I want to pass these on to those of you who pray.
Wendell's sister, Joy, has been bedfast and her most recent bone scan shows a shadow on her spine. Possibly the cause of her inability to ambulate.
Nicki is in Chicago for her treatments. There is more pathology surfacing for her.
Dave has had a biopsy that shows his cancer has not spread to areas that were anticipated. For this we are thankful and praise the Lord for a good report.
Barb is making progress following her stroke, albeit slow.. but sure.
Nancy asks for prayer for Shirley who has been admitted to the hospital after a fall..and for Nancy's hubby , Don who will be having tests done also.
Sandi has GI problems and more testing coming up.
Aunt MaryJane who has been in a nursing facility for so very long.
Uncle Bob who has had amputations and is doing well.
Amy is doing better with her leg problem. For this we offer thanks and praise.
For Janet recovering from surgery.
Mac is in the hospital.
Of course, world affairs are always in the forefront. Pray for leaders of our country that they acknowledge God as omnipotent. For hearts that turn to him in every facet of life.
World leaders
Thanks for taking the time to pray..
