Daffodils in the yard waiting to burst forth..

I looked up into the sky to see if there were hawks or some big birds up there. That's the normal reason the hens go for cover under the forsythia. Unfortunately, their cover isn't very good at the moment with no leaves on the bush.

Here's a big red handsome chap!

And a big black rooster too.. they sure are a bunch of noisy neighbors
