I took a little walk around the perimeter today.. I found this ? cocoon? It's white and silky and hanging from a thorny branch. I have NO idea what is inside. Any guesses?
The forsythia bush holds a lot of these egg cases. I believe them to be praying mantis, and are super good for the garden adjacent to the bush.
Forsythia buds.. a sure sign spring is here.. along with a few other notable signs..
The maple tree in the front yard is in bud.. oh, boy!!!!!
