Since the squirrels tend to invade the bird feeders and are such hogs.. the Z's put up a squirrel feeder down on one of the larger trees. Noting it was empty, they refilled it and then sat back and watched...
The squirrels have to work for the seeds.. The lid on the feeder flops down when they back up or when they pull out of the little box. To get the seed, they have to be smart enough to lift the lid first.
