Hey.. it's July 4th.. and we all know what that means, don't we? I can still remember Wendell's dad saying that there are no flies till the 4th of July.. yeah.....?? right! So what were all these flies all over the cattle on July 1st?Horse flies seem to be huge big flies and their bite hurts! Ask anyone who has had a fly bite. On a rare occasion, one might see one in the house, but mostly in the barn.
Now the house flies are much smaller.. I'm no expert, but I can identify one pretty easily. We don't seem to get many in the house, but just try to have a picnic later this year.. they invite themselves!So far, so good.. I have seen 2. Hopefully, they will find some other tasty menu elsewhere.. like the chicken coop?
