Jay Lynn "Frenchy" Coudriet, Sr.

Jay L. “Frenchy” Coudriet, Sr., 69, of Tarentum, died Wed., Nov. 8, 2006, at home.
Born March 22, 1937 in New Kensington to the late Ralph V. & Mary C. Salada Coudriet he was a 1957 graduate of Arnold High School and lived in Tarentum since 1977.
Mr. Coudriet was employed at Allegheny Ludlum, Brackenridge works for 30 years, retiring in 1996.
Hewas a member of Logans Ferry Presbyterian Church and enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially the Steelers, and listening to country music.
He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Doris J. Schantz Coudriet, his son Jay Lynn Coudriet Jr. of Tarentum, sixgrandchildren, Jodie Eckman, Jay (Courtney) & Joshua Martin, Tina Frank, Brandon Holmes and Jamie Coudriet, five great-grandchildren,Kelsey, Mark, Jakob & Hunter Eckman and Dravon Frank; his brotherRalph (Lorenna) Coudriet of Dayton, Ohio and his sister Myrna (John)Fisher of Arnold. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Gerry, Norman, Darrell & Donald Coudriet.
Visitationwill be Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOMELTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where a service will be held Monday at10:00 AM by his pastor, Rev. Robert J. Henry.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
