I just finished reading headline news. Our ever so slanted media are making a big deal about the 7 Afghan children who died in a combat area. For them and their families, I am sad.. but it occurs to me that in our own country there are hundreds of thousands of defenseless babies murdered every day by abortion.. Where is the news coverage here?

Don't take this the wrong way, but can you site a source for this information? The numbers I see are closer to 4,000 for abortions per day in the U.S. -- granted -- any statistics on this highly political subject have to be considered suspect, but I just don't see any information supporting your numbers.
Having said that -- whether the actual number is 500,000 or 500 -- it is a tragedy nonetheless, but I believe one must be careful to not let personal bias distort the facts whether professional journalist or private blogger.
