It was while I was at work I got a call from my sister Jane who told me that our cousin Joe was critically ill and not expected to live through the night. Sadly, she called again later Tuesday evening to say he had passed away.
It's hard to give up a piece of your life like that- but everyone has to go through it at one point or another.
Joe was the brother of Annabelle who died June 25, 2005 of primary peritoneal cancer. Seems like yesterday.
I'll post the obit when it's published.
