Yesterday I walked outside.. and heard a racket in the trees.. I could hear squirrels chattering again and wondered what was up. As I scanned the trees, I spotted something that at first looked like a birds nest I hadn't seen before.. and then I thought it was a porcupine with it's quills standing up straight. Now, THAT might have made the nutty little squirrels chatter.. but, no, as I walked over to see what it was, it moved and stood straight up with it's fur on end.. it was Gray! That crazy squirrel was scolding something from his perch in the tree.. and his fur was standing on end!Something gave him an awful fright.. Could have been a chicken or a cat... or something else!
