It seems as though we should be more than ever thankful to the God of Creation that he has given us so much. If you were blessed enough to be born in America, you are among the wealthiest people in the entire world. I'm not speaking of money, but of a land of opportunity... formed 200 years ago by men with Christian principles.. men who believed in the God of the Bible, and who gave their lives willingly on that standard and who prayed.
Today they would scarcely recognize the government they planned and formed so many years ago. Yet one thing has not changed in the least, that God is still the God of the universe, and He alone controls all things- for this I rejoice and my heart is filled with joy.
The one gift that God gives all believers is the soul..the soul that cannot be touched by another man. Man may take away all the comforts of this life, but God holds his own in the hollow of his hand. It comforts me to know that my soul is safe.
Christians must be praying for God's will to be done.

It is the Sabbath. I'll be in church. I'm thankful for that freedom. How about you? You can still worship God in your home church- will you? There are those in our country who would take that away from you if they could, and they might. They might make it criminal for you to attend your house of worship as a Christian. Pray this might not be so.

It's a beautiful morning.. sunny and 39 , and hopefully we'll get to 55. Remember the Sabbath as you are commanded to keep it Holy.
