sluggard

What ever happened to responsibility? I just heard a woman on a talk show who was so thrilled and excited because Obama has promised :
"I'm not going to ever have to worry about putting gas in my car or pay my mortgage!"
WHAT!? What planet do we live on? Or is this a 'trick' from trick or treat?
I have a sense of pride in that which I've earned in my lifetime.
I need someone to "take care of me".. I'll chose my Lord and God - His promises are true and real and have no questionable dark sides. He gives us good advice:
Proverbs 6:6 "Go to the ant, thou sluggard, consider his ways and be wise"
