I had a note from Nancy about Barb. It's an email from Duane..
Keep praying friends. God hears every whisper..
Duane called with the following info:
Request for prayer:
She has a blood infection, but they will not know for three days the cause, in the mean time she's being given antibiotics.
Pray for safety for those who take the children down each weekend.
Praise:
She can now get more air with the cuffless trach
She has vibrations in the voice box, so her voice can be retrained, per examination by an eye, ear and nose specialist..
Her temp and heart rates are back to normal
They've met all of her therapy team.
Duane said the people go the extra mile; Security says "Good Night, Mr. Kelly."
He saw one doctor in the parking lot who called to him and asked how was Barb?
Now for a funny:
Barb has a head button, that she can bump to call the nurse.. I'm sure you get the picture...need I say any more. They practiced, then Duane said "now, don’t be hitting it, while I go to lunch." He no more walked into the hall, and the button sounded, the nurse went in and Barb was laughing!
