It's all about cake

Cake is great on birthdays .. especially 1st birthdays when the little ones get their own 'smash' cake.. There is always a reserve cake for others..

Annabelle's smash cake was chocolate..
We all sang 'happy birthday' to her, and then somehow the candle went out..
David may have been breathing heavily in the vicinity. I don't think Annabelle did the blowing however..
