Good afternoon all. Today is a very soggy election day. Mandy and I went to the polls and voted on the new computerized machines. It was really kind of neat after using the old punch cards for so many years. We both learned how to do write in votes too! It was a really new experience for us both. And I might add, it was much nicer and easier than the old cards. Penn Township is moving up in the world!

I was very disappointed to see that the turnout for the elections in Penn West was so low.. of the 1600+ registered voters, only 300+ voted.....sad. I dont' want to hear anyone complaining about who is elected to office!
