APRIL 3 UPDATE AND STUFF

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." Psalm 118:8

Good morning all you bloggers and anyone else who cares to read this.
Another great day here. Wendell is down a half pound, and that's good. At least he's not up a half or more. He says he's not having a really good day like yesterday. Well, we were aware there would be up and down days. His O2 monitor says his saturation is low at 89%.. so I have him hooked up to 2 liters at the moment and resting, waiting for the VNA nurse to arrive.
His incisions are about the same- the two drain holes continue to drain clear/serous fluid and one incision drains clear fluid also. Blood sugar is up also at 204 this morning. You have to wonder if that isn't why he's not feeling up to par.
It is to rain today and we both can feel it in the joints. I've been doing this for years and years- forecasting weather by joint pain, that is. For Wendell, it's something fairly new.
Oh, happy day! JJ took all our tax info home with her last evening and will bring papers to sign this week.. answered prayer. I was not able to consider having them done professionally this year (ie H&R Block). We have been ending up owing every year for about 3 years now.
We are blessed to have JJ do that for us- Thank you , JJ.
