17 DAYS AND COUNTING

Good morning bloggers ! The weather is primary on everyone's mind today. The weather service is still insisting we will have 4-8" of snow by this morning.. It's going to have to come down in buckets to accomplish this, as we bearly have 1" at the moment. Everything is white.. covered in white.. AND it's cold! 17 degrees at the moment, and the promise of 25 for a high. The heavy snow advisory is up at 6am.. it's almost 4am right now.
Oddly, I'm not gainfully employed today, but have the weekend and a total of 4 days coming up for work.

Well.. 17 days to Christmas... no anxiety here.. hehehe...... really, no anxiety. Less than 2 weeks till baby Blair arrives too.. Now, no real anxiety.. but excitement reigns !
Our neice Christy is also due at the same time.. sort of a race to see who delivers first. It's exciting for both families.. it will be Christy and Jeremy's 2nd child.. and Paul and Amy's 5th.
I expect the 4 kids any time now..they will be staying here while Mom is in the hospital. I have cookie/brownie stuff ready for them to keep them occupied.

Lots of things to be thankful for.. family, friends, loving children, wonderful grandchildren, less snow than anticipated, a negative report for Wendell from yesterday, and the Father who loves and blesses us continually.
Pray for Nicki's health to be greatly improved with new treatments..safe travel to Chicago where she goes frequently.. Pray for continuing strength and health for Wendell.. He's still looking at 2 new knees and a hip..
Remember Uncle Bob and Aunt MaryJane as they continue to recuperate..and Janet too..
Also pray for event-free deliveries for Christy and their baby boy.. and for Amy and the little girl who will soon join us.
Peace to you all...
