CARNEGIE SCIENCE CENTER

We arrived at the Carnegie Science Center and spent the most of the day here. We could have spent hours more, but the children have classes to attend tonite.. and so we will have to come back another time to see the rest of it.
Wendell was so pleased to go even with his knees and hip giving him so much trouble. I called ahead and they had courtesy wheelchairs.. so we obtained that on admission and off we went to explore!

This was the first thing the kids saw and went crazy over.. A big pool of water with various sized fountains.. and you put your balls on the fountains and they stay in the air.. such fun!

Daniel found a machine that made ocean waves..it was so incredible.. there was also a place where you could stand in the light and when you moved away, your shadow stayed there.. Now, I didn't figure that one out..

This is Paul and David (you can't see Daniel) at the Earthquake Cafe.. You sit down and press the Richter scale and experience earthquakes of various levels.. I got the 7.8 one and didn't care to repeat it much. It gave me a new outlook and sympathy for my California family.. YIKE !
