CARNEGIE SCIENCE CENTER

ON TO THE 2ND FLOOR !!!!
This place holds so many fun and wonderful treats... I was glad for Paul to be running the wheel chair up those long ramps~ there was an elevator, and though Jane rode it to the various floors, I chose to walk the ramps~ hey.. I need the exercise.

THE TRAIN ENTRANCE.... pretty dark.. sorry.

Just before entering the huge room of trains, P3 stopped for a rest~ on a bed of NAILS! Don't worry, he said it didn't hurt at all. I decided to try it too.. and ... yep! he was right.. no pain!

Though Paul pushed the wheelchair around, David hitched a ride on Papa's knee so he could see better. They were looking at the scores of trains all running at the same time.. WOW!

Daniel and Paul were the first to blow the train whistle.. and then got their hand stamped to verify they had done it. They loved it! David came next.. and then Joyce too, though the fellow there didn't stamp her hand for some reason.. hmmmm

The layout is to represent western PA.. I'm guessing this is Forbes Field.. Jane said she saw Mr Roger's house...
and they had a great layout of Kennywood and other amusement parks..all blended together.. but wonderful to see ...
Look closely.. it's the Incline.. and the river held moving river boats.. Ther was a depiction of steel mills there too.. So much to see..

David and Paul walked the I beam across the buildings....... well, it was only about 6" off the ground, but it made me dizzy to walk across anyway..
