Because I've been asked, I'm posting the photos of the new roof on our home. This first photo is the before picture. Doesn't look too bad, but the dormer in back had some damage.
The roofers came and in just a few hours removed the old shingles and started the new ones. This is how far they got before lunch. There are 5 rows of new shingles. Pewter Gray.
Here is the almost finished roof. It's missing the ridge vent on the top. It is now in place, but not when I took this picture. Tasteful, eh?
More construction later...

It doesn't look any different to me. Hopefully it will be drier inside though!
